For over 50 years, Bidwell Training Center has changed lives by providing career training and academic enrichment to adults in transition. At Bidwell Training Center, we know how difficult it can be trying to make ends meet while pursuing your career goals. That’s why all our training programs are offered at no cost. With a strong relationship with industry leaders, Bidwell Training Center helps people just like you gain the skills, knowledge, and experience it takes to get a fulfilling career.

Bidwell receives funding from The State of Pennsylvania, private foundations, and individual donors, making it possible for all students who are residents of Pennsylvania and who also have their high school diploma or equivalent to receive full tuition, textbooks, uniform (if applicable), and any special supplies required for training.

With a variety of expert-taught programs including Culinary Arts, Horticulture Technology, and more, you can get career ready in as little as 7 months*.

No-Cost Programs

At Bidwell Training Center, we know how difficult it can be trying to make ends meet while pursuing your career goals. That’s why all our programs are offered at no cost.

Tuition is not charged to students who are residents of Pennsylvania and also have their high school diploma or equivalent. Funding for Bidwell Training Center is received through the state, foundations, grants, and individual donors. The tuition, fees, uniforms, scrubs, knife sets, and textbooks are covered for all accepted students.

STATEMENT OF NONDISCRIMINATION

Bidwell Training Center affords every student all rights, privileges, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at BTC. It is the policy of Bidwell Training Center (“BTC”) to maintain an environment for students, faculty, administrators, staff, and visitors that is free of all forms of discrimination and harassment, including sex-based harassment. BTC has enacted the Sex-Based Harassment Policy & Grievance Procedures (the “Policy”) to reflect and maintain its institutional values, to provide for fair and equitable procedures for determining when this Policy has been violated, and to provide recourse for individuals and the community in response to violations of this Policy.

The Policy can be found at BTC’s website at bidwelltraining.edu or obtained in person from the Title IX Coordinator (see below).

BTC does not discriminate on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity that it operates, as required by Title IX and its regulations, including in admission and employment. Sex discrimination is prohibited by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, a federal law that provides:

No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
